5 of 5 Kenwood KL-A900X woofer refoam September 20, 2018

As this woofer has a 13" cone, finding a replacement surround was impossible. After searching the internet I came across someone who restored the same speaker using 2- 15" surrounds per speaker. After quite a bit of measuring and remeasuring, I decided that the JBL LE15 surrounds would work. I only ordered two surrounds because I wasn't 100% positive since I had never done this before. My order was shipped and arrived very quickly, and the instructions were very straight forward and easy to understand.
Everything turned out perfectly so I ordered a second kit to refoam the second speaker. To my delight and amazement, my order was shipped within 1 hour of placing it. WOW!!
The product quality is excellent and the shipping is reasonable.
I have definitely found my home for all my speaker needs.
Thank you to the entire Speakerworks team for being Amazing!

If I knew it was so easy to change only the surround! I was first a bit worried about the soft shipping envelop write "Don't bend" on it, but it didn't affect the surround in any way.

I used less than half the very good glue that came with it. I believe the trick to have a fast dry and no problem keeping the surround in contact during drying is to put just enough glue to cover the surfaces that will make contact, and take good care in spreading it very evenly without any "big" drop or accumulation. Too much glue = less grip.

Absolutely perfect! The surrounds fit perfect and was very easy to do! Lot's of glue ( 2 bottles)probably one would have been sufficient but thanks. Timely shipping, packaging was OK and my speakers are like new!
