7inch subwoofer repair boston accoustics media th. April 16, 2020 Reviewer: RICH ROGGIO from staten island, NY United States   I did the repair as instructed then re installed the speaker in the enclosure. so far it sounds as good as new. Boston Acoustics HD7 foam surround replacement. September 20, 2018 Reviewer: Norm Hoffman from Des Moines, IA United States   The product and instructions were excellent, shipping was fast, and the speakers sound like new again.  The only negative was my fault, that when I first ordered, I thought I was getting two surrounds, and in fact only ordered one, so had to re-order the second and pay the additional shipping. SWKHD7 Foam Surround rebuild kit November 15, 2016 Reviewer: Kenneth Small from Chatsworth, CA United States   I installed BA Voyager 7 outdoor speakers 12 years ago, and had received so many compliments on the sound quality of these speakers.  I wasn't happy when they started to sound like they had blown.  Boston Acoustics referred me to SpeakerWorks for Foam Surround rebuild kits, and suggested that I do the work myself.  Support at SpeakerWorx suggested two kits that might work.  I measured the cone diameter, and picked the one that matched that spec.  I followed the directions supplied with the kits for removal and cleaning the cracked foam surrounds, and applied the new ones.  This process took less than an hour to complete.  The next day I remounted my Voyager 7s and to my surprise and delight, they sounded like brand new speakers.  Thanks so much SpeakerWorx for bringing the sound quality back to my yard!  The best part is that the whole thing cost less than $30!  You guys Rock! Easy to install and sounds as good as new! June 20, 2016 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Fontana, WI United States   Had thought a new set of bookshelf speakers was inevitable when the original surround material on my BA HD7s degraded. But found your product/solution and bought 2 foam surrounds.  Followed easy instructions, let glue cure overnight, and reinstalled speakers.  Played some favorites from Spotify...and speakers sounded better than they have in years!  As good as new - or even better!
