Product fit perfectly, instructions were top notch December 5, 2022 Reviewer: Shepherd Ginzburg from Ventura, CA United States   A great solution to aging speakers. I have owned these speakers for 35 years and this was the second time I have re-foamed them. The instructions were clear and the fit perfect. They sound just like new again. The kit works November 21, 2020 Reviewer: Dan from Durango, CO United States   A bit of a process to prepare the speaker for the new surround and gluing it but I saved a bunch of money. It is a dual voice coil woofer and a replacement would not be cheap. The nitrile glue works like contact cement so be careful when positioning it. The speaker works like new. Very satisfied. AWESOME!! GREAT PRODUCT TO WORK WITH October 13, 2020 Reviewer: Gary Dunkinson from Delta, BC Canada   I have a 1958 Wurlitzer Juke Box that the speakers finally packed it in, well the foam part anyway.  So i heard about re-foaming and found this company Speaker Works and ordered what I needed for the re-foaming repair of 3- 12 inch speakers, so they sent me the 3 foam surrounds and the also included the additional adhesive for the 3rd speaker instead of just the one bottle.  They also sent a full instruction sheet which was quite explicit and too the tee for accuracy.  Repaired my 3 speakers and discovered a different method to attach the surround which was easier for me.  Very Pleased will deal with them again.  WELL DONE SPEAKER WORKS CREW Was this review helpful to you?

12" foam surround - an easy fix! March 5, 2020 Reviewer: Michael Grasmick from Madison, WI United States   I found the phone ordering of this item very pleasant.  The woman on the phone was knowledgeable and pleasant with a very understandable voice.  The installation of this foam surround on my JBL L65 bass speaker went exceptionally well!  For the first time in years, I've got both speakers up and running with remarkable clarity and bass!  THANK YOU SPEAKER WORKS!! JBL L-112 cabinet - Best practice surround install October 21, 2019 Reviewer: Richard Martell from Valencia, PA United States   After discussions with your internal support team, it was decided to go with the SWK12A instead of the SWK12AB identified in the SpeakerWorks recommendation after measurements were taken.  It was also decided to glue the surround foam on top of the speaker instead of below to get maximum contact.  I used a dremel with a wire brush to clean off the metal speaker rim.  I used glass covers from the kitchen to hold the foam in place on the speaker as well as the rim while the glue was drying.  The interference between the magnet and the coil on one of the speakers was resolved by turning the speaker 90 degrees in the cabinet.  I am very impressed with your product and will surely use the foam surround again. Foam surround replacement. September 24, 2018 Reviewer: Ocean Toad from Venice, FL United States   Foam surround on my subwoofer was falling apart.  Replaced it with a kit that I guessed would be correct.  It was a miracle, (I'm a lousy guesser), but it fit perfectly.  Very easy to do, just followed enclosed directions.
