These grill covers are primed with gray primer and ready for you to paint. Our steel custom speaker grills are made of perforated 22 gauge steel with 1/16" holes and a 3/32" stagger. They are very transparent to sound & infrared (remote control signal). These steel speaker grills are suitable for indoor use. Fasteners for mounting grills are available below. Primed steel custom speaker grills are made to be within 1/8"
(+ or -) of ordered size, and the measurements are outside dimensions. Because these grills are custom made they are not returnable. All of our speaker grills are sold and priced individually.
A grill with a flange will have a 90 degree bend at the edge of the speaker grill on all 4 sides.
We offer ½ inch, ¾ inch, and 1 inch flange length options. Hemmed grills have a ½ inch edge that is rolled flush to the grill
(folded over) on all four sides. The corners of the hems are mitered.
The hem reinforces the edge and improves the
appearance. A flat metal grill is a piece of metal cut to size with no edge detail.
If you are installing a speaker grill in a hole cut-out it will need
to be ordered slightly smaller then the hole size. Please tell us about
any critical measurements in the order comments box on the check
out page.
