Kit to repair one 8 inch speaker. Comes with 1 surround, instructions, can be ordered with or without adhesive, applicator brush, and phone or email technical support. Fits a speaker cone of 6 1/8" Works on angle attach speaker cones.
Works for:

Dynaudio 21W54 and other speakers.

Surround Outside Diameter: 8"

5 of 5 Repairing the surrounds on a pair of MeyerSound HD November 11, 2015

MeyerSound HD1s are full near-field control room monitors of the highest grade and price.  The 8" woofer is removable from the front of the speaker but hides the monstrous heavy magnet assembly that makes it surprisingly heavy.  Also, the diameter is not a standard size and I was pleased to find the Dynaudio replacement surrounds. They fit wonderfully for the job, which took 3 days per speaker to make a clean job.  Gently cleaning off the cone edge, basket edge and an outer retaining ring used up a whole bottle of solvent (Goof-off), a pile of cotton tips and paper towels and every trick in the book including the excellent instructions included with the surround kit. (Thanks)  It took another 2 days to glue and dry the  surround to the speaker.
 Just turned the system on yesterday and OMG!!!!  What amazing sound!!!!
   Thanks for your fast, excellent service and good quality materials.  I'll recommend you to all.

they looks like brand new!!!

My 17-year old Advent Prodigy Towers have served me well.  I thought they were done for when I found that the foam surrounds on the woofers had completely disintegrated.  For ~$25, however, I bought a couple of surround repair kits from SpeakerWorks.com.  With about an hour of work on each of the speakers, my Advents now sound as good as new.  A nice job by SpeakerWorks in helping me select the right kit, excellent instructions, and a little bit of patience added up to a very simple repair.  I highly recommend this product.
