Description
 
Kit to repair one 6 inch speaker. Comes with 1 surround, instructions, can be ordered with or without adhesive, applicator brush, and phone or email technical support. Fits a speaker cone of 4-1/2 inches. Works on angle attach or flat attach speaker cones. This surround has a smaller roll then most.

Works for:
Many 6" woofers.

Surround Outside Diameter: 5-5/8"
Speaker Cone Outside Diameter: 4-1/2"
Surround Inside Diameter: 4-1/8"

We offer quantity discounts on purchases of more then one speaker repair kit which will be automatically calculated in the shopping cart.

Note that we will only send one set of instructions per order. We will usually combine the adhesive into fewer large containers for quantity orders.  We will send sufficient brushes to facilitate the repairs but we may send less brushes than the number of kits ordered.

5 of 5 Refurbish 6" woofers from a 2000 VW Beetle August 29, 2022

After replacing front door speakers, I found the original speaker to have had only the foam surround deteriorate. The speaker frame is a special design, so I decided to try to fix them.  The SWK6B kit fit the cones perfectly and only required a slight trim of the outside diameter to fit the original frame. The repair instructions supplied in the kit were excellent and most beneficial. The acrylic glue worked perfectly bonding to the fiber cone and plastic frame. As all four woofers on the car are the same, I now have a spare set to replace the back set if needed.  I highly recommend your repair kits!
