This is a top of the line, 6-1/2" inch, 2-way speaker building kit utilizing the
AAW61B4 woofer and the AAT414
tweeter. These great drivers, matched with high-end crossovers and dual flared (anti-chuffing & anti-turbulence) port tubes, make an excellent 2-way design. This kit is ideal for a high-end bookshelf, studio monitor, home theater
speakers, or anywhere else you want great sound. Kit includes parts for one speaker. If you want a
pair, order two and receive a quantity discount.
Kit includes:
1 each AAW61B4 woofer
1 each AAT414 tweeter
1 each matched crossover for the woofer
1 each matched crossover for the tweeter
2 each port tubes (three pieces)
Minimum impedance 4.2 ohm
Nominal Impedance 6 ohm
Recommended cabinet inside volume is 20 liters.
Install 2 port tubes in back side of speaker cabinet
Fill speaker cabinet loosely with Dacron fill (4 ounces), keeping fill away from port tubes.
Speaker cabinet recommended to be constructed of 3/4" MDF (Medium-density fiberboard)
