Kit to repair one 5 1/4 inch speaker. Comes with 1 RUBBER surround, instructions, can be ordered with or without adhesive, applicator brush, and phone or email technical support. Fits a speaker cone of 3-15/16 inches. This surround is an angle attach but will work on flat attach speaker cones.

Works for many 5-1/4" speakers with rubber surrounds.

Surround Outside Diameter: 5-1/8" (131 mm)
Speaker Cone Outside Diameter: 3-15/16" (100 mm)
Surround Inside Diameter: 3-5/8" (92 mm)

I was sent the incorrect surrounds at first, but after I made Speakerworks aware of the issue, they immediately took responsibility and sent me the correct surrounds for my project. I am a machinist so I can measure accurately yet the surround did not fit. I think I had the closest size available yet still the Dia was too big for the speaker. I cut the surround to reduce the Dia and glued together. So far its working fine but it would help if there was a cross ref for speaker and manufacturer to make sure you get the correct product.

Also the surround was bent from being folded in a plastic shipping bag. I got it corrected but a piece of card board in the bag would have avoided the problem.

Still gave 4 stars knowing how difficult it must be to get the correct sizing on all speaker types.

Unfortunately, I had the surround and glue shipped USPS. The surround itself is perfect just as described! Even before I opened the packaging I could smell that there was a mishap. Upon opening, the glue had completely leaked out of the bottle (lid still on and secure), it was as if the glue was somehow sucked out of the bottle. Fortunately, the glue was contained in the plastic bag and didn't ruin the rubber surround. I tried to glue the rubber surrounds to the aluminum basket with white surround glue from a previous purchase with little success.

I was very tempted to try these surrounds, but opted for the stock foam surrounds.
The fit seems just as good as the foam, so will probably change out sooner than later.
