10" Boston Acoustics Speaker Repair Kit

Kit to repair one 10 inch speaker. Comes with 1 foam surround, instructions, can be ordered with or without adhesive, applicator brush, and phone or email technical support. Fits a speaker cone of 7 1/2 inches. Works on angle attach speaker cones.

Works for Boston Acoustics: HD-10, HD10 Passive Radiator, 710LF, 975, PV-600, PV600, SW-10, SW10, T-30, T30, T-930, T930, VR 400, VR400 Subwoofer, VR 500, VR500 Subwoofer, VR-970, VR970, VR-975, VR975, Square frame woofer series, VR500, T930, SW 10, PV 600 and other speakers.

This surround has the original "filled fillet" Boston Acoustics design to properly absorb vibrational transmissions from the cone and will preserve the original woofers high compliance, low Fs, and high efficiency.

When delivered, the surround was folded in half in the envelope causing a crease in the product.  Made it difficult to install.

My speaker have rotted out the outside of the 10 inch woofer. I was going to throw the pair into the garbage but I did a Google search to see if you could repair them. Installed the new repair kit and they are as good as new. Very happy. Order was easy to place and arrived within a week.

I had a pair of 25 year of Tower Boston Acoustics speakers. One speaker had a 10 inch deteriorating foam surround. These were great speakers that would have cost about $800 to replace. I decided to order a repair kit and give it a shot. The kit came with detail instructions. It was easier than I thought to do the repair. The speakers sound great again. The best $18 spent.

The speaker surround is a great product and the instructions are very detailed.

Now for the bad news.  I spoke with a representative and he indicated it would be shipped out that day if I got it in by noon which I did.  This was on a Thursday.  It did not ship until the following Monday.
