Surround Re-Foam for Cerwin Vega Speakers
Cerwin-Vega was founded by aerospace engineer Gene Czerwinski in 1954, and the speakers are known for their excellent sound, great bass response and red colored foam surrounds. Cerwin-Vega started selling home speakers in the 1970s with the Model 24 and Model 26. Later Cerwin-Vega models included the A-10, A-123, R-10, R-12, R-123, 12TR, and 15T tower speakers with downward firing woofers. The S-1 speaker system with a "Sixth Order Butterworth Vent Tuning" and Cerwin-Vega's DB-10B Bass Turbocharger was an achievement due to its extended bass responese. Like other foam surround edges red colored ones do eventually go bad, luckily we sell kits to repair almost every Cerwin-Vega model of speaker and most are available in the original red colored foam.
